Michael Phelps rumoured to be considering poker

Phelps recently lost his endorsement deal for his swimming following his alledged use of marijuana at a party. Kellogg Co. said they would not be renewing Phelps’ endorsement despite his record 8 gold medals at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

The rumours and scandal surrounding Phelps, who is a keen poker player, didn’t escaped the notice of poker community. Many are now predicting the Olympian will switch vocation to poker. It’s unclear who may negotiate a deal with Phelps at this stage but several reporters have tipped Doyles Room, following past association with Phelps, as the hot favourite. Doyle Brunson has yet to comment on the speculation.
