Sexy Poker Banned in Australia
WiiWare game, Sexy Poker, has been refused classification by the OFLC and banned by the Australian government. Gameloff’s game features female opponents dressed in school uniforms, business wear and nurses’ outfits.
OFLC refused classification because nudity was used as an incentive to win in the game.
A statement said; “In the Board’s view Sexy Poker offers depictions of nudity as an incentive or reward to interactive game play. In the Board’s view, the general rule in the Guidelines for the Classification of Films and Computer Games prohibiting depictions of nudity as an incentive or reward, applies to the game play described above, as the player is shown increasingly detailed amounts of nudity following successful game-play.”

durrrr Challenge News: Antonius Turns the Screw
More bad news for Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan last week as Patrik Antonius extended his lead during their challenge match up on Full Tilt Poker.
With 13,500 hands in the books the heads-up challenge between the high-stakes pair has yet to reach the half way point. Dwan is going to need to run very hot, though, if he is to turn around the current $424,000 deficit.
A welcome distraction for Dwan may be the WSOP – due to start in a few days time. Although no formal break in play has been agreed between the pair it seems likely that play will at least slow down during World Series.
