patrik More bad news for Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan last week as Patrik Antonius extended his lead during their challenge match up on Full Tilt Poker.

With 13,500 hands in the books the heads-up challenge between the high-stakes pair has yet to reach the half way point. Dwan is going to need to run very hot, though, if he is to turn around the current $424,000 deficit.

A welcome distraction for Dwan may be the WSOP – due to start in a few days time. Although no formal break in play has been agreed between the pair it seems likely that play will at least slow down during World Series.

In the latest session, last week, Antonius added another $32,000 to the profit column. The hour long session paled in comparison, though, to some of the other games Dwan was involved in. Some huge pots were exchanged with Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen along the way. Although Dwan is now struggling against Antonius, the youngster is still showing up as a big winner on Full Tilt lately with over $1.3 million in cash game winnings.
