WSOP 2009 – $500 Casino Employees Event won by Andrew Cohen

wsop-2009 The WSOP 2009 is underway in earnest with Day 2 of the $40,000 buy in No Limit Hold’em event due to start again in a few hours time. However, yesterday the Casino Employees event took place and, despite it’s low-key nature, the event still awards a WSOP bracelet and some serious cash to the winner.

Andrew Cohen took the spoils from a 867 player field. The $500 buy-in tournament is clearly growing in popularity amongst casino staff and Cohen will be very pleased to walk away with a $83,833 first place prize.
