Missing UK Poker Player, John Regan, Found Dead

john-regan The body of a missing poker player from London has been found by UK police in a North London canal. John Regan was last seen leaving a pub on November 19. Concerned family and friends reported his disappearance soon after with many describing the popular 30 year old’s actions as “totally out of character”.

Regan, originally from Derbyshire, worked as a Sports Analyist in London. Police are not treating his death as suspicious at this stage.

Facebook and Twitter users including Dave Gorman, David Mitchell, Claudia Winkleman and British poker babe Victoria Coren joined a 3500 strong group for information on Mr Regan’s whereabouts.

Victoria Coren wrote; “I’m afraid it is the most terrible news about John Regan. Thank you all so much for all the immediate help and kind concern.”

Mr Regan’s body has not yet been formally identified but police said they were “satisfied” it was him and had informed his family.
