Full Tilt’s Million Dollar Cash Game sees Record Pot
You might expect the occassional large pot in a cash game title “Million Dollar” but rarely do you see a pot exceed the one million mark in Full Tilt’s flagship televised cash game.
$1,108,500 found it’s way into the middle of the table when two old rivals, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, locked horns. Fellow Full Tilt Poker pro’ Patrik Antonius was also involved in the action but the savvy Finn had step aside from this particular hand before both players held monster hands.
When the turn fell both players held a straight but it was Phil Ivey who was in big trouble…
…Ivey held
on a board of

for the wheel. Dwan was sitting quietly with the nuts, though,
. Ivey fired $90,000 into the $119,500 pot at that stage. Dwan raised to $232,500 and Ivey quickly moved all in. Dwan, of course, made the call to leave Ivey drawing dead for a pot of over $1.1 million.
The pot is the largest Million Dollar Cash Game pot we’ve seen to date and it breaks Dwan’s own record for his largest televised cash game pot.
